South Seattle Young Life is committed to cultivating the presence of God, creating space for the formation of whole hearted people who embody restoration. We are building a network of support and care in the community of South Seattle.
The values we hold in this process, Vulnerability, Integration, and Agency, are being reflected as we lean in to the support and care of a restorative people.

Here are a few Restorative people that have been a part of what God is doing in South Seattle.
VULNERABILITY: To be broken.
Vulnerability is the choice to share true emotion with God and with people, especially in the spaces of brokenness we encounter in ourselves and in the world around us.
INTEGRATION: To Become.
The process of integration is about choosing to become: choosing to agree in word and in action with who God says we are. If we agree in word but not in action, we are operating out of deception, which is hypocrisy. If we agree in action, but don’t believe in what we’re doing, this is behavior management, and requires us to disassociate our mind/heart from our bodies.
AGENCY: To Choose.
Agency is the understanding that our personhood is our source of power; it comes with the recognition that we always have choice and our choice is powerful. With this understanding, it becomes a choice to confront unjust situations with truth, wrapped in compassion for people who have been harmed, people who have caused harm, and those impacted by these situations.
INDULGE
The formation of wholehearted restorative people can only come from the cultivated presence of God. This is the Main Main Dish to be in the presence of God and Love Him Deeper, wholeheartedness is unto loving God more fully and being loved more fully.
